I have been using Italian play cards since I was a kid, playing with my Nonno, Dad, Sister and cousins. Cards is a great way to come together as a family, but I felt the designs on current playing cards could use an upgrade.

The design I have created for the backside of the cards and box is take on a traditional Italian pattern, often seen on porcelain and plates. I have chosen to keep the face design on the cards due to the tradition associated with the card images.
